Adjutant

The average height is around 5 feet from bill to tail. Its wing span is around 4 feet. As Adjutants are omnivorous, they eat earthworms, fish, slugs, molluscs and sometimes dead animals. In each nest, there are usually 4 eggs. The hatching season is at the end of the rainy season. They can be found on mud flats in the delta region and along the swampy coastline.
